Christmas in Spanish
Discover Spanish Christmas culture and traditions through a story. In this 90-minute in-person workshop, we will combine guided reading and listening to a fictional story set during Christmas, analyzing its vocabulary, expressions, and nuances in detail.
After the reading, we will open up an active conversation space to discover how Christmas is celebrated in Spain (the Lottery Draw, the Christmas Eve, the twelve grapes on New Year's Eve, the Three Wise Men...) and compare these customs with other cultures.
What does the session include?
- Reading and listening of an exclusive fictional story in Spanish.
- Printed file with text, comprehension exercises and vocabulary/expression guide.
- Guided debate and cultural dynamics about Christmas traditions in Spain and around the world.
- Coffee, tea and a touch of Christmas nougat to accompany the session.

Learn Spanish in Zug: a relaxed, practical environment, speaking from day one.
Would you like to learn Spanish from scratch, be able to communicate on your next holiday, or simply discover a new language without leaving your neighbourhood?
In this course, you'll learn the basics of Spanish in a dynamic, everyday-oriented way. We'll work with a textbook as a guide to ensure structured learning, combining it with practical activities so you start speaking and communicating from the first class.
